From the eel weir that to this day is ocassionally fished to the banks further along and not far from Belleek Marina, where locals and visitors alike can enjoy fishings.
The River Erne flows past the village and event reaches the dam at Ballyshannon, flowing a little further to the Atlantic Ocean. Dpending on your perspective, the beginning or end of the Erne- Shannon Waterway is located at Belleek.
